Recommendations of the Board of Education:

grades 4-8

Students:

- They make contact with the tutor and teachers on their own (eg via an e-journal) or with the help of their parents.

- Depending on the age and the degree of independence in using tools for remote contact - they organize self-study at home.

- Systematic work gives the best results!

- All doubts as to the form, mode or content of teaching, students report to teachers on an ongoing basis (by themselves or by asking their parents for mediation).

- The time spent on the computer should not be unnecessarily extended. Breaks, even short ones, are obligatory!

- Observe the safety rules when working with a computer
and on the Internet.

- Remember about linguistic etiquette and culture in communication
with teachers (honorifics welcome!).

Parents

- Children should be encouraged to work independently.

- It is worth being in touch with the class teacher and teachers: provide your phone number, e-mail address, use the electronic journal more regularly, check the school website.

- As far as possible, support (but not replace!) Children in carrying out the assigned work

Take advantage of the time when your child does not attend kindergarten for your child to become more independent - expect more help from him with everyday activities at home, e.g. when preparing meals, cleaning, or even when doing activities related to getting dressed, preparing for sleep,

where children are often relieved due to rush. Use your child's stay at home for interviews

with him on a variety of topics. This way you will enrich your child's vocabulary. Take time to read to and from children. Use educational TV programs, offer the child board games

or fun and arcade games.

Take advantage of the teacher's advice and suggestions. Don't avoid contact with him. Ask about everything and share your thoughts about the baby. In the event of suspension of the work of kindergartens
and schools, it is your and the teacher's responsibility to educate and create conditions for your child

for comprehensive development.

At home, a child should, just like in a kindergarten, play with their toys on their own, construct, arrange, clean, feel safe and free in their activities. He should also move and do lots of simple gymnastic exercises.

Use the time when your child does not attend school for your child's benefit. Let it become more independent, more organized, more responsible. Staying at home gives you additional opportunities to spend time talking to your children about topics that interest them. This way you enrich their vocabulary and knowledge

about the world. Use your stay at home to read books together, talk about them and explain them. Reading aloud and listening to the text being read is the best method of learning to read.

Try to involve children in all homework that can be done at their level, the course of which can be enriched, for example, with mathematical aspects (calculating the calories of products used to make a dough, weighing, measuring, counting down), with environmental aspects (e.g. segregation). rubbish and talking about the process) or aspects related to understanding one's emotions (e.g. experiencing the joy of winning or accepting a loss during board games).

Learning at home is also an opportunity to implement family educational projects, supported by the teacher.
